Step 3) remove the disk pack screws

Step 4) Lever the Disk Pack out

Gently lever the diskpack out of its socket

Step 5) Fully Remove

Default AC Power setting

By default the 5403 systems are shipped to power on once the mains AC power is connected. This is typically the server use case, e.g. if there is a power outage capture devices should power on automatically when the power is restored.

For portable systems it may not be the best setting.  To configure the setting requires BIOS per the below

Step 1) Enter the BIOS

Type the DEL key on the KVM when the system is booting. This shows the menu below

Step 2) Chipset Configuration

Advanced (at the top) → Chipset Configuration

Step 3) Restore AC Power Loss

Set the Restore AC Power loss setting

Step 4) Save

Exit (top) → Save Changes and Exit

Step 5) Finish

New AC Power setting has been updated.
