Removing Disk Pack
Removing the disk pack is simple and straight forward, use the following steps
Step 1) remove the dust filter
The system has a dust cover filter on the front of the system. This filters out unwanted particles from entering the eletronics components. As the system is designed to operate in non-datacenter environments.
Remove the screws as shown below

Step 2) Dust cover
The dustcover will hinge off and can be removed from the system, looking like below

Step 3) remove the disk pack screws
As shown below remove the 3 screws from the disk pack

Step 4) Lever the Disk Pack out
Gently lever the diskpack out of its socket

Step 5) Fully Remove
Fully remove the entire disk pack as it slides out of the chassis.

Default AC Power setting
By default the 5403 systems are shipped to power on once the mains AC power is connected. This is typically the server use case, e.g. if there is a power outage capture devices should power on automatically when the power is restored.
For portable systems it may not be the best setting. To configure the setting requires BIOS per the below
Step 1) Enter the BIOS
Type the DEL key on the KVM when the system is booting. This shows the menu below

Step 2) Chipset Configuration
Advanced (at the top) → Chipset Configuration

Step 3) Restore AC Power Loss
Set the Restore AC Power loss setting

Step 4) Save
Exit (top) → Save Changes and Exit

Step 5) Finish
New AC Power setting has been updated.
