BIOS Settings

The following is a guide on BIOS settings for each system. When the CMOS battery drains the BIOS settings will be reverted leaving the system in a problematic state.

Advanced → Processor Configuration → Advanced Power Management → CPU P State Control

Advanced → Serial Port Console Redirection

Advanced → PCIe Configuration

Advanced → PCIe Configuration → Network Stack Configuration

IPMI → System Event Log

Boot

Boot → Hard Disk Drive Priorities

Following is the BIOS settings for the FMADIO 100G Gen2 systems

Advanced → Serial Port Console Redirection

Advance → PCIe Subsystem

Advanced → Network Stack

Advance → NVME

Chipset → Common Refcode Configuration

Isoc Mode / NUMA settings

Chipset → Memory Configuration → Memory Map

Chipset → Advance Power Management → P State

Chipset → Power Policy

Server Management

Server Management → System Event Log

Boot (Legacy) Try this first

Boot → Harddisk Drive Priorities

(Set to NVMe P00)

Boot (newer system EFI boot) NOTE: 95% of systems are Legacy try this one last
