CMOS Battery has a life of about 5 years, the specific battery the systems use is shown below

Any CR2032 is sufficient, same brand is NOT required.

Check Battery Voltage

Going to the BMC web page

Step 1) Login to the BMC

Step 2) Go to the Sensor page

Step 4) Check the P_VBAT level

Expected to be close to 3.3V on a fully charged battery.

Replacing CMOS Battery

The CMOS battery is under the FPGA shown below

Once the FPGA has been removed the CR2032 batter can be seen next to the PCIe slot, as shown below
