Clearing Database

Systems database can be reset using the following steps.

Step 1) change dir

Inside the LXC container (e.g. the command prompt is GREEN)

Change to the folder

/root/suricata/

Example output

root@fmadio200v4-636-suricata:~# cd /root/suricata/
root@fmadio200v4-636-suricata:~/suricata#

Step 2) reset the database

Resetting the database as follows

./reset_db

Example output is shown below

root@fmadio200v4-636-suricata:~/suricata# ./reset_db
root@fmadio200v4-636-suricata:~/suricata#

Step 3) Confirm no data

Using the grafana dashboard confirm no data is visible
